Located on the Ras Al Khaimah / Oman border with the stunning Hajar Mountains as its backdrop, Al Jeer Port is one of the Arabian coast’s most picturesque Ports.
Al Jeer Port’s scenic location lends itself perfectly to leisure activities, and its modern marina complex can accommodate leisure vessels and yachts of all kinds, and with hundreds of available berths Al Jeer Port is capable of handling large volumes of inbound and outbound traffic. With the marina host to the Barasti Sailing Club, a training centre accredited by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and a fully licensed clubhouse, Al Jeer Port has all the ingredients for superb marine leisure experience.
Continuing along the theme of leisure, Al Jeer Port now boasts a dedicated outdoor education centre, offering multiple activities and programs for groups of up to 100 people who can stay onsite overnight if required in our comfortable accommodation centre.
Al Jeer Port’s proximity to both the mountainous region and the Northern tip of the Arabian peninsula makes it an ideal centre for GCC livestock entry and the Port has quarantine facilities to support the thriving livestock industry. Al Jeer Port also has a large volume of storage space with covered warehousing, temperature controlled warehousing and additional open storage space all available.
As a testament to how sustained maritime management can co-exist in harmony with leisure activities for all age groups, there is no better example than Al Jeer Port.
