How does choosing Saqr 2.0 give my business a competitive and strategic advantage?

By establishing your operations at Saqr 2.0, your business gains direct access to a US$1 billion world-class port expansion designed specifically to lower logistics overhead and secure your supply chain. Operating out of Ras Al Khaimah gives you a stable, highly reliable gateway with integrated support across diverse sectors, including dry bulk, liquid bulk, renewables, and heavy manufacturing, ensuring your operations remain resilient and connected to key global markets.

Yes. Saqr 2.0 is specifically engineered for complex and oversized project cargo. It features a dedicated 35,000 MT heavy-lift pad, multiple assembly areas located directly adjacent to berths, and Ro-Ro / drive-on capabilities (med-mooring) to enable smooth loading and unloading without traffic bottlenecks, curfews, or urban restrictions.

Saqr 2.0 features deep-water drafts ranging from 14 to 24 meters, making it the deepest project cargo port in the MENA region. This draft depth allows the port to accommodate Capesize vessels as well as large-scale liquid bulk and specialized project cargo carriers with optimal vessel turnaround times.

Saqr 2.0 offers highly flexible land options ranging from 10,000 m² up to 1.5 million m² in Phase 1, with total freezone land unlocking up to 5 million m² in initial development and expanding up to 12–15 million m² in later phases. All plots benefit from direct quayside connection and dedicated, unobstructed 50-meter-wide road corridors.

Saqr 2.0 supports a wide range of commercial, industrial, and maritime licensing options, integrated directly with RAK Maritime City and Ras Al Khaimah Free Zone authorities. Flexible short-term and long-term lease terms are available to accommodate diverse business operations, from manufacturing and assembly to logistics and storage.
